What We Do
CCASA sisters and associates serving in Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Panamá, Guyana, Perú, Chile and Argentina are frequently found with the most marginalized of society: persons, especially children, living with HIV/AIDS; persons suffering from acute poverty; women and children needing protection from domestic violence and trafficking; prisoners; youth and women in need of employable skills; and women and men seeking to live a fuller, healthier and more spiritual life. Serving passionately in Mercy wherever life cries out in need, our sisters and associates minister in schools, universities, parishes, hospitals, health care facilities, prisons, and in social service, pastoral and occupational centers. We actively advocate for social justice and systemic change on behalf of the poor and marginalized in our society. Our retired members continue to take part in the works of Mercy and the Community through their life of prayer.
