Sister Pauline Semkow
Entered: September 2, 1957 – Madison, Connecticut
Current Ministry: Retreat ministry, spiritual director
Motto: All my life love
Life in Mercy is for me Eucharistic—blessed, broken, and given—all in Christ's name. I have experienced the fullness of being by living in the present; tasted the salt of tears and the joy of surprise; played in God's shadow, knowing a faithful Love embraces me no matter what the moment is like. Together with my sisters in Mercy, life serving the Hidden Christ is about learning to dance to the Spirit's rhythm, to be readied, to wait, to listen deeply, and to be emptied in order to be filled and fashioned into a woman of Mercy, who reaches out with Christ's compassionate love in service to others.
