Sister Rosamond EthierSister Rosamond Ethier

65-year Jubilarian

Entered: September 8, 1952 – Cumberland, Rhode Island

Current Ministry: Prayer ministry

Motto: Seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33)

After "retiring" from over 50 years of service in the field of education, including 24 years as a professor of politics at Salve Regina University, I was open to new experiences. Consequently, I was privileged to serve in three sponsored ministries that reflects our vow of service to those who are poor (Warde-robe thrift store), those who are sick (Mount St. Rita Health Centre board) and those who are uneducated (Conference for Mercy Higher Education). It is a blessed journey as a Sister of Mercy. My hope is that those I serve, seeking the Kingdom of God, experience the same grace-filled moments as I have. Thank you, Sisters of Mercy.
