Sixty years now as a Sister of Mercy! I have always felt called to be a Religious Sister. At one point in my life, I became a runner and I found similarity between praying and running. In the beginning of running there are all kinds of distractions, aches and pains, so too in praying, but even (sometimes) I was able to be fully aware of God's presence. I felt totally present in the here and now, and closer to God, my Creator and loving friend.
