60 years of belonging to the Mercy Community have encouraged me to explore a broader world. I have experienced years of teaching, administration, Spanish study and travel in Latin America. Spending countless hours with people who have lost everything, who are detained, whose lives are so different from mine has intensified my growing commitment to changing structures and deepening understanding of how everything and everyone is connected.
